WATER REDUCING SUPER PLASTICIZER- NORMAL TYPE

DESCRIPTION
Shalicon-37N is based on a blend of specially selected organic polymers, including sulphonated naphthalene polymers. Shalicon-37N is a powerful dispersant, capable of producing very mobile flowing pumpable concrete. It is used to produce concrete having unchanged strength development to produce high workability concrete or reduce cement of concrete or to retard the setting time of concrete.

USES
Water reducing Super Plasticizer is used in hydroelectric power projects, tunnels, bridges, dams, road projects and batching plants.

ECONOMIC ADVANTAGES

DOSAGES
The actual amount required to achieve a particular result will vary with the type of cement, the size, shape and grading of aggregate and the total mix design. For high strength, water reduced concrete, the dosage range is from 1.00 to 2.00 ltr/100 kg of cementious material including cement, fly ash and micro silica.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
Where the main requirement is to improve strengths, initial trials should be made with normal concrete mix designs. The addition of the admixture will allow the removal of water from the mix whilst maintaining workability. After initial trial, minor modification to the overall mix design may be made to optimize performance. Where the main requirement is to provide high workability concrete, the mix design should be one suitable for use as a pump mix.

COMPATIBILITY
Shalicon-37N can be used with all type of Portland cement, sulphate resisting cements and micro silica.

PACKAGING
Shalicon-37N is available in bulk or 250 kg nett Wt. Drums.

DISPENSING
The measured quality of Shalicon-37N should be added along with the gauging, water in the case of batching plants. Correct dosage should be used with about 18-20% of the total water in the last phase after the mix.

STORAGE & SHELF LIFE
Shalicon-37N has a shelf life of one year from the date of manufacture in unopened original packing, protected from extremes of heat and cold, and stored under shade.

SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
Shalicon-37N is not a fire or health hazard, spillage should be washed down immediately with cold water. In case of contact with eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water.
