DESCRIPTION
Shalicon-37S1 is a dark brown liquid admixture for concrete, based on sulphonated naphthalene polymers.

ECONOMIC ADVANTAGE

Concrete of similar workability can be produced with 20-25% less water.
Chloride free: Safe in pre stressed concrete production.
High early strength gains.

DOSAGES
The actual amount required to achieve a particular result will vary with the type of cement, the size, shape and grading of aggregate and the total mix design. For high strength, water reduced concrete, the dosage range is from 0.5%- 1.5% by weight of cement.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
Where the main requirement is to save the cement content by reducing water content, initial trials should be made with normal concrete mix designs. The addition of the admixture will allow the reduction of water from the mix whilst maintaining workability. After initial trial, minor modification to the overall mix design may be made to optimize performance. Where the main requirement is to provide high workability concrete, the mix design should be one suitable for use as a pump mix.

COMPATIBILITY
Shalicon-37S1 can be used with all type of Portland cement, sulphate resisting cements and micro silica and Fly ash.

PACKAGING
Shalicon-37S1 is available in bulk or 250 kg nett Wt. Drums.

DISPENSING
The measured quantity of Shalicon-37S1 should be added along with the gauging, water in the case of batching plants. Correct dosage should be used with about 18-20% of the total water in the last phase after the mix.

STORAGE & SHELF LIFE
Shalicon-37S1 has a shelf life of one year from the date of manufacture in unopened original packing, protected from extremes of heat and cold, and stored under shade.

SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
Shalicon-37S1 is not a fire or health hazard, spillage should be washed down immediately with cold water. In case of contact with eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water.
